Potential Undergraduate and Graduate Students
We are not currently hiring volunteer research assistants at this time. If you're interested in joining us for Winter 2024, please email baronlabmgr (at) psych.ubc.ca in early November. In your email, include a completed application form and your official/unofficial transcript. Our call for Undergraduate Researchers can be seen here. Call For Undergraduates
If you are interested in exploring other research opportunities with us (Directed Studies, Volunteer, Summer Internship Program), please email baronlabmgr (at) psych.ubc.ca with the following information: your student year at UBC, concentration, experience interacting with children, and a statement about why you're interested in joining this lab. If you are applying to the SIP, please also include a completed application form, detailed cover letter, and your official/unofficial transcript.
Please note that positions in this lab are very competitive and we receive more applications than available positions. We are particularly interested in applicants who can make an 8 month commitment (with the exception of the SIP).
If you are considering graduate studies in Psychology at UBC and are interested in learning more about the Social Cognitive Development Lab, please send an email to Dr. Andrew Baron directly at abaron (at) psych.ubc.ca.
